Professional Support for Organisations

Working with Organisations & Teams

Alongside my private practice, supervision and teaching, I offer bespoke CPD events and facilitated learning experiences for organisations, teams and services across health, education and the third sector.

I have worked with the NHS, community organisations, charities, colleges and universities, offering sessions ranging from one-hour workshops to full-day events. These have included reflective practice spaces, team learning days, and topic-focused CPD designed to support confidence, competence and connection at work.

With a portfolio career spanning leadership, education and therapy, I am experienced in working with diverse professional groups – from frontline staff and support workers through to clinicians, managers and senior leadership teams. I value supporting people in different roles to think together, communicate more effectively, and develop greater understanding and empathy for one another’s experiences and perspectives.

What I Offer

Organisations usually invite me in when they want space to pause, reflect and think more deeply about their work – whether that is through learning a particular framework, strengthening team relationships, or creating time for shared reflection.

My work often includes:

  • Reflective practice groups and facilitated team conversations
  • CPD sessions informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS), Transactional Analysis (TA), attachment and relational approaches
  • Learning days focused on communication, working with complexity, and understanding what happens beneath the surface in individuals and teams
  • Support with organisational development conversations, such as creating a shared vision, clarifying objectives, or improving ways of working

I particularly enjoy working with individuals and teams who are motivated to engage with the learning process and who are curious about their own experience and that of others.

My Approach

People often describe my facilitation style as warm, thoughtful and containing. I am experienced in holding spaces where people feel safe enough to think, speak and reflect honestly, while also being gently encouraged to challenge themselves and one another in respectful ways.

Sessions usually blend:

  • Clear and accessible input
  • Space for discussion and shared reflection
  • Experiential elements that draw on people’s lived experience, professional histories and current work

Rather than heavily structured role-play or performance-based activities, my approach is experiential in a relational sense – inviting people to notice what is happening internally and between one another, and to explore how this can be used constructively in their work.

Practicalities

I prefer to work in person, though I also offer online sessions where this supports accessibility or inclusion. I have delivered work UK-wide and am happy to travel where this is agreed and reflected in the fee.

All sessions are developed collaboratively, tailored to the needs, context and purpose of the organisation, while drawing on approaches and resources that have been well received elsewhere when appropriate.

This work is not crisis management or consultancy. It is about working with individuals and teams to support reflection, learning and development over time.

Getting in Touch

If you are curious about working together, or would like to explore what might be helpful for your team or organisation, I would be very happy to have a conversation.

You are welcome to get in touch to discuss your ideas, needs or questions, and we can think together about whether and how I might support you.

Professional Grounding

My work is strongly relational and rooted in communication – particularly attentive listening to verbal and non-verbal messages. I draw heavily on Internal Family Systems as a way of understanding what may be happening in an individual’s internal world, and how this can be acknowledged and worked with within groups, teams and learning environments.

Whilst I am a therapist and clinical supervisor, my focus in organisational work is on people as people. I am interested in how improving intrapersonal and interpersonal relationships can support confidence, competence, growth and meaning – for individuals, teams and services.

With nearly four decades of experience, I bring both depth and perspective, while holding space for each organisation to shape something that is meaningful and relevant to them.

Testimonials

Anne’s workshop surpassed my expectations and completely shifted how I felt about the subject. It was engaging, insightful and thought-provoking, while remaining accessible and enjoyable throughout. I would confidently recommend her training to teams and organisations looking for impactful learning experiences.

I really valued the mix of teaching styles, interactive conversations and practical exercises within the workshop. The content helped me gain a stronger understanding of both myself and the theory. Being able to ask questions and connect with others deepened my learning, and I’m confident it will have a lasting impact on me, my clients and my personal relationships.
