At Sparkes Ltd, we’ve spent decades kindling more than just fires, bringing reliability, passion, and a personal touch to every home we visit.

Sparkes Ltd, originally K&L Sparkes was established in 1977 by Kevin and Linda Sparkes. They were joined by Tony Williams in 1993 and between them built the business to become a well-known installer of Wood Burning Stoves and Specialists in Installing Chimney Systems. In March 2010 Kevin retired and Tony and his wife Michelle became the sole owners, changing the name to Sparkes and becoming a limited company making it Sparkes Ltd.

We have a very special Team at Sparkes consisting of Tony, Michelle, Martin, Steve and Iylee. Tony carries out all the Quotations so will visit you in the comfort of your home to discuss your ideas. He oversees all the work carried out, closely working with customers and our Chimney Engineers to ensure the job is finished to the highest standard. Michelle & Iylee oversee all areas of marketing, design & advertising. Martin is the first point of call and deals with all your calls in the office and Sales. Our Installation Team of Hetas Chimney Engineers are Tony and Steve, who has been with Sparkes for over 25 years.

Tony and the team have done the most amazing job relocating the chimney breast and providing us with our new stove - it wasn't a small job. The team have been amazing, incredibly professional, talk you through all the elements, including the local authority Building Control requirements - nothing was a surprise. The entire process was great, from initial contact, arranging a quotation and visiting the showroom to discussing options, through to flexibility on installation date (when our stove delivery was delayed) and the install itself. They arrived on time, took great care to protect the furnishings and clear up, worked hard with excellent attention to detail, discussed the options and listened when queries arose. We're very happy with the finished result (I'm a perfectionist and can't fault any part of their work) and would use Sparkes again without question.

These guys know their stuff-trust me, I’m extremely fussy and have very high standards. We bought our fire from Sparkes and had them fit too, cannot rate these guys highly enough. Absolutely brilliant, from start to finish. 100% recommended.

We had a solid fuel central heating system fitted in the 80s and still going strong. We had a parkray that heated up to eight rads, wonderful . They were excellent workers.
